Case study describing a DOE Zero Energy Ready Home 2020 Housing Innovation Award winning custom for buyer home in the marine climate that used a large south-facing roof which holds over 80 solar panels and large, south-facing windows and concrete floors, which provide passive solar heating to achieve a HERS score of -19 with PV and 33 without PV.
