Technical Description

Through its Zero Energy Ready Home program, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) certifies homes that meet the most rigorous federal government requirements for high performance. These homes include optimized energy efficiency, whole-house water protection, quality-installed comfort systems, comprehensive indoor air quality measures, and solar-ready construction where there is good access to a significant solar resource.
